Hi guys

After another sleepless night of 7,10,20min apart contractions I am exhausted and no baby.

I rang happy bunny and going to take her advice and I am going to walk today and keep active, I didn't want to tire myself out yesterday but they ended up slowing down big time and then stopping.

I am going to call the hospital and yes they will probs send me home but i can ask for some stronger pain killers and maybe get some sleep

keep your fingers crossed for me x

Oh Ginny I was really hoping to come on here this morning and find out you had your baby :(

I think its a great idea to keep mobile and do some walking. Have you been using your TENS machine, that should help ease the contractions and maybe if you go for a walk and tire yourself out a bit then you might be able to have a wee nap later today if the contractions can be managed with your TENS and pain killers.

Keep us updated and hope things progress

my labour was like that for about 12 hours. i was advised to walk around and climb up and down stairs to get them more regular.
i had a sweep too to help speed things up. i hope youre in established labour soon

Hi honey,

Hope the walk got things moving a bit faster! Hopefully the hospital can give you something a bit stronger so you can get a bit of rest or even a sweep to speed things along a bit more. You sound so similar to how my labour progressed, I really wouldn't be surprised if baby came tonight or tomorrow. I know it is hard, but keep your chin up, if you can cope with this, you will be fine through the rest of your labour. Thinking of you! M xxx

Aw Ginny I was so sure you'd be next

Come on baby!!!!

they have stopped all together now

i just want to cry now

I am so so tired

x

oh hun

try get some sleep now whilst there is no pain

I really recommend keeping active- I'm convinced that's why my labour was so quick (and also 'easy' as labour goes...)

Gravity is the best thing to get the baby down- if you lay on a bad it won't help!

Have you tried just leaning on all fours on a birthing ball?
