Hello

My name is Emma, I'm a mum of one 7 year old boy.*

Apologies in advance of the forthcoming long post. I'm hoping to gain some advise from others as I am unsure whether I may be pregnant. I live in a small village where everyone knows everyone, so I have purchased a test online to arrive in the post on Monday.*

I do suffer from PCOS and in the last few years I have gained some weight, meaning that my periods have been all over the place with no pattern or consistency at all, complicating matters entirely as I have no idea where I am in my cycle, but do know that I am way overdue!*

What has led me here is some unusual futterings/twinges/pulling sensations in the same area I would normally experience period pains. Usually my pains are quite strong and come and go. These are similar in that they are quite spontaneous but they are also very slight, I wouldn't call them painful at all (unlike usual totm pains). It's almost similar to a nervous type feeling but down there. This began 2 weeks ago.*

Now, early January hubby and I got carried away and had half unprotected sex. I say this because he did pull out before doing the deed (cringe!) There have been no other incidents of unprotected sex.*

Last week after sex, I had a small amount of blood when cleaning up. This may have happened to me before but I don't remember when as it's not a frequent thing that happens to me after sex. I think I assumed that my period was on its way, but of course it hasn't shown.

Other than this I have no other symptoms really. I've been emotional, had a little cry for no real reason this week. But then I do have a lot going on lately so could just be a fluke! One memory of my pregnancy with my son was how incredibly sick I was (I was given anti sickness pills from dr) but I don't have this at all.*

I tend to notice the twinges when I am sat down relaxing but notice nothing when active.*

It's helpful to write all this out. I'm going to do a test once it arrives to weigh it out really. I'm just confused by these fluttering and what else they could be?*

Is it really possible to become pregnant if hubby pulled out before doing the deed? We don't make a habit of the so-called pull it method!*

Has anyone else experienced this early pregnancy?

Any advise or suggestions would be most welcome!*

Emma
