My next course begins on 1st Nov my text books arrived the other day and theres like 6 thick ones - plus I've got to complete a 2500 word essay by 30th November

What are you studying? I used to have to write essays all the time, now i write case notes on people which is often like writing an essay!!!!

I have just finished my first course with the open university, I am doing social science. I am now taking a year out until I have settled with baby.

busy but fun!

I've done ou before! I used to get really excited when my materials arrived!

Now I'm doing a degree in adult nursing and loving it despite having to start my shifts in 3 weeks aswell as the studies, 3 2500 essays to be in by Dec 3rd and 3 kids to juggle!!

Why do we do this to ourselves?

I'm 28 - went straight after school. Knew that if I took a year out I probably wouldn't have gone!

I'm with OU too! I've just started my 4th course this month and got first essay due on the 24th of this month!! I'm doing health and social care at moment.
