Umbilical hernia

When my lo was born doc said his stomach muscles hadn't knitted together but was probably Normal....nothing more was said.
He is almost one and out the blue I get a phone call from doctors asking me to take him in tomorrow about a possible umbilical hernia ( we had doc come round a week ago as he had a virus and she felt his tummy but didn't say anything at the time)
Anyone have any experience of this?

Sorry Hun, nothing useful to add. I'm sure he will be fine. My LO had this when he was first born but his seems to of sorts itself out. Hope u get things sorted. Big hugs. Xxx
