Betty returns from Mexico laden down with gifts to find Daniel having been beaten up by his dealer, but she's more interested in fighting for Henry than Daniel's misadventures, and there are other shady shenanigans afoot at Meade.
Wedding plans are in full swing as Bradford finally does the decent thing and proposes to Willie, and having stitched up Daniel in front of the press Alexis hires at hitman to take care of her randy father.
Meanwhile, Christina and Amanda get locked in the secret sex den where they discover Amandas mother is none other than Fey Sommers, Justin gets the lead in the school play and Claire breaks out of the big house to sabotage Willie's wedding. So far so good, but sweet baby Jesus it's about to get ruddy messy!
Betty finds out Charlie had been cheating with Dr Farkas, and rushes to the airport to stop Henry flying back to Tucson, but is too late. Also rushing about is Alexis driving Daniel to hospital in Bradford's car after he takes an overdose, but she discovers too late the hitman has cut the brakes. And Santos is too late to make Justin's big performance because... well because he's dead, shot during an armed robbery!
Which leaves Betty to break the news to Hilda, Willie about to marry Bradford, Amanda as a possible sister to Daniel and Alexis, who are currently unconscious in a mangled car wreck, and Claire on the loose with a gun. Roll on Season two!
