UGG Boots x

Here you go... (hope you don't mind me quoting you sherlock!)

O better hope my OH doesn't see this. Deckers is a swear word in this house with him being an Aussie and all

Deckers are a US company who bought an Aussie company/name that made Ugg boots. It registered the trademark but their Ugg boots are made in China and defo not genuine Aussie ones.

Read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ugg_boots in the Trademark dispute bit. You'll see that in Australia 'ugg' is generic and Deckers don't have the trademark on it.

I'd honestly say that any Aussie will tell you that any Ugg boot actually made in Australia etc is a proper Ugg boot. Doesn't matter the make per se, just that they are Aussie made. Deckers don't count

I'd get Celtic boots hun, celts sold the name UGG to australia yrs ago, celts are original ugg and wash and last longer..

www.celtic-sheepskin.co.uk

cost a lil more.. but my friends had hers over 4yrs still look soo good, so i bought a pair, i luuuurve them!! xx

I dont really see why youd pay £90 quid when you can get the same things without a teeny tag on the back for £30-40 :?
Im not saying dont or judging anyone who has but im a rift thrift face so i dnt get it lol

i totally agree..

but there not same, i bought a gorgeous pair from M&S last yr and there worn out! ready for the bin, where as the Celts are washable and last yrs and yrs.. so if you dont mind having same style, might aswell invest in a good pair, and get your wear outa them, like i said, my friend wheres her's most days and had them 4yrs, there stil going strong.. xxx

Also...whether or not they have genuine sheepskin inners makes a difference, the cheap fake fur ends up ponging when wet :puke:
Mine are from uggstore and they are so warm and comfy but have a proper thick rubber tread, not those flimsy bottoms, so i can go out in the wet and bung em in the machine :)

Maybe its one of those things you dont realise how fab they are til youve got a pair eh :)

I call them Sesame Street Feet! I just kind of think it makes you feet look really big and the foam soles on some of them do look like sponges and they would absorb water lol! Even if I liked them and got genuine ones I would just have them on a shelf to look at I wouldn't want to drag £100 along the floor. But I'm more of a DMs girly anyway lol!

Im a little bit obsessed - but I definately get my wear out of them!

Plus Im a size 3 so can get size 2 kids ones haha

haha im the same as barbie, fit into the kiddies ones!
i live in mine ive had loads over the years... be wary of getting them from america i got my wahine (style of uggs) from america an not only did i have to wait 3 months for them i also got a hefty customs charge grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! but i complained and got a free pair of ugg slippers where they paid the customs charges postage and they came within 2 weeks!
the soles of the ones your getting arent the best you need soles like the sundance style they have a more solid sole on them.

lol drag 100 along the floor hahaha, i wear mine as slipperss m comfyness, slippers in primark that style are 6, or 4 for the boots :wall: :wall:

i have the long £30 next jobbies and short £4 primark ones lol, depens how chavvy i wanna look as to what i wear em with

I cant stand them but everyone is to there own
When they first come out everyone was walking round in them by where i live
and you still see them in them now the heels are worn down and they wear them
in summer and wont take them off cause there uggs i dred to smell them :rotfl:
They was selling fake pairs on a market where i live £50 they looked good fakes
you would of never knew unless the person got on there hands and knees :rotfl:
the baby ones are cute though :)

I got a pair of Next one's from the clearance store for £9. I wanted some from sketchers originally but OH wouldn't let me spend £45 as he hates them! They started wearing down on one side after a couple weeks but for £9 I can't complain :D

Love my Uggs, have two pairs chestnut and chocolate, both brought from Bloomingdales in NY over a year ago so got them for about £70 each which is around £110 cheaper than here in England :cheer:

I love them in the winter, are super comfy and providing you look after them well they last well too. Mine still look brand new, no damaged or wonky heel (that looks awful and doesn't really happen to the real ones just the fakes) and are great for wearing with skinny jeans.

Hi, my UGGS need washing... can you tell me how you wash them, what temp, do you put them in a separate wash bag etc as I threw away the care card!!! Thanks

They're not my cup of tea. I'm more of a baseball boot kinda girl :D

I don't like them, but I do, if that makes sense. Here in Liverpool it's the trademark look for girls to wear market ugg boots, have an orange face and pink stripes on their cheeks, not forgetting the backcombed Russel Brand hair and barbie lipgloss!

My friend got a pair and I tried one on, they are comfortable and I can see why people wear them, if there weren't so many replica's knocking about, I'd probably be a bit more inclined to buy a pair.

On the contrary, I have Timberland boots and have done for about 4 years, not as comfy as Ugg boots but they're good enough for me!
