I would live in my Uggs if I could! I've had fake, but once you put a pair of the real ones on your footsies you'll NEVER go back!

My OH thinks they are smexy.....but I did get shouted at when he realised I had them on in bed.....it was cold!!!!

I bought a pair of fake ones out of barrats and the heels on them went all wonky and worn at one side making me walk funny after only three weeks! I'm assuming this doesn't happen with the real ones??

I see this at school with the girls I teach. They are all ruined and don't look good for their feet but its always the cheap ones they have on.

I'm not a fan of them at all.

Love Uggs. I have real ones and a pair of fake Next ones and tbh there isn't much difference between them two but ther really cheap ones do go wonky and it is a pet hate of mine to see people walking round on the sides of their boots. I ordered mine from America and got them loads cheaper but now the pound isn't so strong, it isn't much better esp if you do get stung by customs.

Iv got 5 pairs of primarks own uggs £4-6 a pop and theyve just done some this year with rubbery bottoms so no squidging !!!
OH mums got 2 pairs of real ones for special outting and then primark ones for the other 363 days of the year lol

Kim, just be careful, all the Australian websites say they are genuine uggs (which in theory they are, coz ugg is the style) but the real real ugg boots can only be bought online in a few places.....and the badge on the ones on that site don't look quite right.

Shes right yano, the badges look too high on the boots

Thanks for your concerns - I think the link is for fake "UGG Australia" boots which is one of the brand name of UGG Boots. The ones I have ordered are "UGG"


Australia's Official Dictionary: The Macquarie Concise Dictionary describes "Ugg Boot" as follows – “ug boot / Australian 100% merino sheepskin lined boot. Also called ugh boot , ugg boot”. So, "UGG" is not a brand name in Australia, but an age old generic term for this style of Australian Made sheepskin boot.

The design, and the wool used gives it the right to be called a "real UGG"

There are a few different brands of UGG - UGG Australia, UGG, Love from Australia UGG's etc.

the ones on that site arent genuine 'deckers' uggs. I got mine from shudoo.co.uk. but usc also sell them

I might get a pair but I'm not forking out for the Deckers Uggs. They're about as Australian as a steak pie - owned by an American company and made cheaply in China. There are plenty decent non-branded ugg boots - I just need to wait until I'm getting paid again

I bought a pait of Emus (same as Uggs) but the didn't fit so took them back, I then bought a pair of cheap ones from Next to wear while I looked for others and they are soooooo comfy, and only £30. They look as good as real Uggs and I am not scared to wear them on a day when it may rain in case they get ruined.

To add to the whole real Ugg debate, DSL is right Decker Uggs are the ones that most people wherem but they aren't genuine Australian sheepskin boots at all. Sherlock commented on this a while ago, I will find her quote!
