Since around the middle of last week i've been suffering with quite bad back pain, feels like it's linked to the mild cramps/twinges in my uterus. Just wanted to see if other ladies around the 10-11 week mark are experiencing anything similar?

The twinges aren't painful, I'm just aware of them, if that makes sense. My lower tummy is now beginning to feel hard and I can feel a very small firm rounded bump between my hips if I lay flat on my back!

I am, I am lol....

I'm off to physio at 1pm today - a specialist on pregnancy so should be in good hands. I've got 2 prolapsed disks in my back and the pain has been horrible cos the rest of my back cant cope as everything relaxes. I had a hot water bottle literally stuck to my back for 3 weeks and works quite well so give it a go. Everything with me realxed just a little bit too much in my last pregnancy and I really suffered in Tri 3 - I could hardly walk so I'm trying to nip it in the but sooner rather than later!

If its getting bad, ask to refer to physio and they will give you stretches to keep your back strong. I also swear by pilates - have a look at Fitness.TV on sky and they do have programmes in yoga and pilates especially for pregnancy so sky+ it or watch it and give it a go.

Hope it gets better soon x

I don't seem to have had the twinges but my lower back started hurting last week and still is, very sore when I'm sat down, and doesn't seem to be easing.

I'll be trying some of those suggestions, never had a problem with my back before!

I've never had problems with my back before either! It's strange. I'll definitely give that pilates a look, thank you. Been asking OH for massages as well which helps! :)
