Hello Everyone

I’m new here and would like to introduce myself my name is Chrissy and here is our story. DH and myself have TTC for 15 months no luck, not even a chance of conceiving. I went to my doctor after 6 months he sent me away, and then I had another unsuccessful 6 months with quite a bit of work stress (which wasnt helping). During the 6 months he told me to have some blood work and a sperm analysis to be done to check DH sperm count. We got the OK, everything normal. I decided to try all natural treatments before going to my doctor again. Ive tried reflexology, reiki and pre seed all which didn’t work for me. Also I tried OPK to pinpoint my ovulation days. I usually get a surge on cycle day 12 night 13 morning. I have a regular 26-29 day cycle. After the year passed the last three months have been hectic from suffering from cystitis to having an HSG ( tubes were all clear ). Now i have been pescribed my first dose of clomid 100mg I produced two follices and I was over excited. Period unfortunately came today so I am feeling so disheartened right now and I need to contact my doctor for my next step hopefully the second dose will be better for me. I feel like giving up right now, Im hoping someone could give me some advice to try something new this month. I take vitamins every day and have a healthy diet. Need some encouragement. Thank you Chrissy xxx

hi,

I’m halfway through my first clomid cycle and I’ve done a lot of reading! It seems that it’s quite common to get a bfp on the second clomid cycle don’t give up think positive’ it’s easier said than done I no I’m now over 3 years ttc my second and it’s been the hardest journey for both me and my husband! Fingers crossed for your second cycle! X x x

Hi thanks for your reply!

Thank you for your feedback. Fingers crossed and hope the Clomid works for the both of us! I used my first round with Pre seed and will use my second round with Pre seed too. As I’m worried it will dry up my cervical mucus. Also heard about cough syrup, but I will have to order it online so will have to give it a miss this cycle. I do have evening primrose oil so will take that until O. Xx

Hi, you’re not alone! I’ve been ttc since October 2016. All our tests came back fine. I had a two month gap where we couldn’t ttc as I had to get mmr jab and then I had hycosy to check tubes which were all clear. I got told that by the fertility doctor that I’d be more fertile for the next couple of months after that, but still af arrived  we’re both healthy, both take vitamins, neither of us have stressful jobs, so it just seems like bad luck. I haven’t lost hope but at the same time, I do find it hard to imagine it happening now. I keep thinking surely it would have happened by now?! It is an awful feeling getting af, even if you’re expecting it to arrive. I just let myself wallow in that feeling for a couple of days and then try and pick myself up again, which isn’t always easy. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get your bfp soon x

Hi Peony1. Definitely feel for you. This month is the only month I managed to keep it all together. Other months I’m all over the place crying. I’ve decided to just take a few months off work which my boss thinks I’m crazy for but has allowed me to go back when I’m ready. I decided to just risk it let myself relax and see what happens. If it doesn’t happen in the meantime I can go back. Yeah exactly that badluck, the biggest regret I made was tell everyone I wanted a baby. Now they look at me and judge me and I feel awful about it. Wishing us both luck and fingers crossed, plenty of baby dust xxxx
