hey all,

I always wanted to go travelling for a year after my degree with OH. However, this plan has gone down the drain with the unexpected announcment of a LO on the way! OH raised the point that since I am now finished for uni (in a week) and he has quit his job since we are moving, we could go for some this summer before we go to America to see his parents.

What do you guys think about this? Do you think its safe? I know certain countries would be out of place due to the need for injections. And also the worry of complications in random shitty country.. Also wouldn't want to be missing scans etc?
If we were to go, what areas do you think would be safe?

Thankies...

I would do it.. go for it.. Just be careful of what you eat etc and take lots of rest breaks

Just get your first tri out of the way and check on the issue of medical insurance. Other than that I dont see why not.

yeah we're definitely leaving after the first Tri. we're thinking of doing Europe, and maybe China or Japan.. I think Japan might be safer? before going to the states and then staying about a month in the states? I think that would work out fine for me dates..

:D

Yeah, I'd say definitely do it!! Europe sounds good, the health care should be okay as long as you have insurance. What about Canada?? You could go before you go to the USA and it's an amazing country.

mmm Canada sounds like a good idea!

do you think it would be more comfortable inter-railing or driving round Europe?
