Travelling between 27-29 weeks

I am due to go to Florida in October, I will be 27 weeks outbound and 29 weeks inbound. The carrier will take me if I have a fit to fly letter (will take me up to 32 weeks).

As this is my first pregnancy I am not sure how big I will be then, but I am looking forward to having 2 weeks with DH before the baby comes. We've not got a lot to pay off of the holiday and it would be a shame to cancel, but I don't want to harm the baby.

Has anyone here travelled during these weeks, if so how did you find it?

Hi Rosieroo!

I will be going to Fuerteventura when I will be 26 weeks and flying back at 28 weeks and have been told that this will be ok. Just make sure that your travel insurance covers you for up to the weeks you fly as well as well as your trael company.

I decided that a 9.5 hour flight would be too uncomfortable at that stage and will be cancelling. I've booked us a week in Majorca in 5 weeks time which should be nice and relaxing Looking forward to having a week with DH alone, afterall that wont be happening again for at least 18 years!
