Has anyone bought one yet or seen one they are thinking of getting?

I know I still have ages to go yet but mum & dad have just said they are buying it for us & I am so impatient & want to get it now.

Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks

Sorry i have no idea yet, sorry to but in on your question but can I be really thick and ask a Question - what is a travel system - is this the buggy and the car seat .... and what else? - and can the buggy and the car seat be the same thing????

i got mine when i was 5 weeks lol

this is mine.. i had it 2nd hand off ebay for £67 including p&p when it arrived i couldnt believe it.. the woman must have used it 6 times and the rain cover had never been used.. was spotless!! and what a bargain!

i chose this one as i liked to walk a lot when i had charl.. and had a bar for a handle with ehrs.. found i couldnt do any shopping as there was nowhere to put the shopping bags, we also are ona budget this time.. as well as last time however we earn more money this time i just am thinking more economically.. this travel system is a sturdy stroller, and i hope we have this pram till the baby doesnt need one anymore..

I bought the Bebe Loola Comfort Pram which was so compact and easy to fold up for my small car. Admittedly, I bought it in 'Toys R Us' in Spain with the creatis car seat, both for £180. I liked the way the car seat can clip on and off the pram's frame itself, and it has 3 reclining positions. I might be getting the carrycot also later on.

I got mine when I was 22 weeks. Got the Quinny Buzz but bought it off ebay too. Got the Buggy bit and the Carrycot for £230 including postage which saved us £200 on the retail price for them both, and it came in it's original box, hardly used at all, and with a rain cover and all the instruction books still there too.

Obviously bought the Car Seat brand new, for an extra £90 I think, but would defo recommend ebay for the rest!

Just make sure you're buying from someone that sounds legit and has good feedback, as it's a lot of money to send electronically to someone. Or alternatively search for ones in your area and you can go and pick it up locally and save on postage, and then you'll only pay when you've seen what you're picking up!

Also, get yourself down to a big baby store and have a play with them - see what's comfortable for you, and whether you prefer 3 or 4 wheels etc, and whether the car seat is compatible in your car. There's nothing to say you can't buy it from ebay, but go along to a shop first so you know the one you want, and *then* go find it cheaper online :)

Thanks Shell - good advice.

I will go & have a look at some at the weekend I think. BTW think yours is fab :)

Hopefully it won't be much longer for you now

We ordered our Quinny back in May and we had it delivered last week and I love it! So very very green!!

I liked the look of it and they had them at the baby show in London so had a little play, then had another play in Mothercare then a friend got one so had another play!

Same as Leckershell, get out there and play with them in the shops and I would recommend lifting them too, it may seem lovely and easy to move but if it's a nightmare to lift and carry, how can you keep getting it in and out the car and all that.
