I think we've finally decided on the graco evo travel system with the new snugsafe car seat and isofix base all in black. The money is sitting there and i've added all the items to my basket on the mothercare website...just want to be 100% before I commit. Does anyone have one? or have any comments about them? Do you rate them or hate them???

Anything that you think is better in the same price range (just over £500)? My must have checklist is: choice of forward or rear facing pushchair which reclines to flat, separate carrycot suitable for occasional overnight sleeping, large shopping basket, very compact chassis when folded to fit in small boot, car seat with compatible isofix base.

Also...maybe a silly question but if my car has isofix points will the base definitely be compatible or do not all isofix bases fit all cars with isofix points?? I've found it all sooo confusing!!

I have the graco Evo- it's great and will get the ISO base come payday too

I'd advise you go to kiddicare or where ever is local to you and sells the isofix base and get them to test it in your car - :)

I would second checking the car seat before you buy. Isofix isn't a universal system so even with the base you want to be sure the seat fits properly with it and that you know how to set it up.

We've just bought this too, just the pushchair with car seat as not sure the bases fit in our old cars so just going to use the seat belt. The car seat hasn't been delivered yet but the pushchair has and it's so easy to put together, nice and light, easy to manoeuvre, big shopping basket. I'm really chuffed with it. We had a try in the shop obviously but have been able to have a proper play since we got it at home and I'm really happy with it, especially as it came in at under £300! X

Think you've got a good deal there dooeyona.
I'm having the standard trouble of finding a suitable double... It's not easy or as fun as I was hoping!

Is it heavy, is it long, is it wide, is it expensive...... Usually the answer is yes!
Is it car seat compatible, does it lie flat and fit in my huge boot... Usual answer is no!

Argh!

Enjoy your new pram Hun :-) xx
