My photographer friend is interested in doing these kinds of shoots for people.... here's a site (not his) that shows you all kinds of funky stuff people do in their wedding dresses.

http://www.altf.com/

I'm curious...would you ever do it? I would love to do it but my dress wasn't really a frilly proper wedding dress as such.
It's not like you'd want to wear the it again.... what do you plan to do with yours?
Sometimes they only need a clean afterwards anyway, it's not like they are really ruined.

so.... would you?

I voted YES! Looks really cool.

I was thinking of maybe getting my bodice undone from the skirt and using it as a top with jeans for when i go out...but i havent decided yet..

I would love to, I've seen some stunning trash the dress shots.

I'd love to have the guts but I know I would regret it cos I love my dress!

oh yes i would love to!!! it would be an excuse to wear it again, and if it was made all funky i might b able to wear it more oftenxxx :)

I wanted to do this, and have it dyed also to a real funky colour.

No way!

Not because I want to keep it but I think it's an awful waste. In our consumer drive society it seems really distasteful IMO! I bought my dress from OXFAM and as soon as it's clean it's going back so another cash-strapped bride can wear it.

Sorry to be a party pooper :(

I'm with minxy on this one. just seems such a waste

But in some of them they aren't trashed at all!

I voted yes as I loveee some of those photos!

I don't know what to do with my dress. My bodice can be separate but TBH it's not the sort of thing i'd wear out.

My dress has mud on it anyway from the huge train and the mud/.. lol

Absolutely no chance would I ruin the dress I just spent £1025 on! Its going to be in my cupboard forever. Actually Im going to wear it and prance around the house in it every time hubby to be goes out for the evening!

I would say only three of those pics is the same as the trash the dress pics I have seen (the fire and the 2 water). the others are just arty wedding photos.

I love the burning one! I'd happily burn mine

Under different circumstances though, no, I doubt I'd have wanted to trash it.

I kept mine, I had hoped to pass it to one of my daughters, but now I think I'll try to flog it.

Yeah, the others aren't 'trashing the dress' as such. There was an article in my paper the other week with girls going paintballing in them and stuff. I think it's a bit silly. It just galls the old hippy in me I guess

i LOVED those pics! im not married so dont have a dress but if i did i would SO trash it!

I think i would

But i might change when i eventually want to get married

I'd love to trash mine, but I have to find the £90 to pick it up from the dry cleaners first!

Love the fireman one id well do that !

Gorgeous photos though, none of the dresses look THAT ruined id do it, then again im not married so i guess... i wouldnt lol
