My husband and I have been TTC for about two months and I just can't get my head around my temp chart and when I Am ovulating?

He doesn't get that it's not always straight forward and that's confusing me too, as I see other people knowing when it'll happen...

I've been measuring my temp for the last month and it's all over the place?

Can anyone give any suggestions???

Thanks

I really don't know. It's worth doing opks as well as temping. I have heard that temping doesn't work for everyone. Also it's worth tracking your cervical mucus as that's a great indicator of fertility.

I would go OPK. Less work and less stress x

I didn't temp, just used ovulation tests which I found easy x

I haven't temped in a long time but would suggest that temp spike is the day of ov. But as the others have said you need to use opks in conjunction with temping really to pinpoint it. I gave up with temping after a couple of cycles as found it too much of a faff and just stuck to opks. If you're seeing women on this forum knowing when they're going to ov a lot of it might just be experience and months and months of getting used to the signs (as well as opks!) x
