Too similar?

One of our shortlisted names is Dahlia.

Just as we decided it was a front runner my husband family member has named their baby Delilah.

We never see this family member and I have met them once in 13 years.

I love our name and worried they are too similar?

My friend has a Dahlia, must admit I thought it was Dahli-a and not dahlia all one.

It does look like Delilah, a bit too similar for me but if you love it why not.

I would still use it, the other people aren't a close part of your life so it's really not going to make too much difference.

If you love it then use it x

Nope still use it it's not your fault, I'm sure they would still use their name if other way round xx
