Hi Ladies,

Does anyone have one of these sterilisers? I've just sterilised the baby bottles for the first time to try and figure out how to use it but when the programme is finished I am finding that the bottles are not dry, they are still a little wet with the steam....is this how it is supposed to work or am I not using it correctly?

Mine are like this. I just fill them straight up with the boiling water. The steam thats left on them is techincally fresh boiled water anyway so I dont see a problem

yip thats just the steam that cleans then in them still and like melio says I too just add the water to them or I just leave them in the steriliser until I am ready to make up bottles xx

yup same as the others have said,

ive also found id got a weird brown sort of "burn" mark at the bottom of the steriliser when only puttin the recommended 80mls of water in, so im puttin nearly 100mls in and its solved the problem,

yeah I had that too so I put extra water in I also add to the water a tootsie amount of steralisning fluid, only cause i love the smell lol xx

I found that my steriliser has a bit of brown stringy stuff everynow and then and it pongs what is this and do I need to do anything other than wipe it out to sort the problem?

I found that 2 so I clean it out every 3 -4 days xx
