Anyone else getting a lot of toe cramps the now? Or did anyone have it a lot during previous pregnancies? I am getting fed up. It is toe cramp from something as simple as standing up. I know there is nothing I can do for it but I just want to hear I ain't the only person having to put up with it!

How weird you posted this.

For a week I've been getting those horrible leg cramps that wake you up in the middle of the night and you just want to chop your leg off.

I just happened to be reading one of the week by week guides to pregnancy this morning and at 22 weeks it mentioned leg cramps and it being a sign you need more calcium.

I'm going to try to up my calcium intake as it won't hurt to give it a go.

Not toe cramps for me- just nasty leg cramps like Hazel. I think I read somewhere that if you stretch your legs you shouldn't point your toes as this makes your legs cramp up- or I may have dreamt that
I hadn't thought to search why I was getting them- will have to up my intake of calcium then.

I used to get leg/toe cramps most nights (before pregnancy) and after several years found that they were caused by caffiene. As soon as I realised that and cut it out, they went and I never had them again until this week! On Sat and Sun I seemed to get cramp on and off all day and again I got toe cramp last night even though I've had no caffiene....I'll try taking calcium...hope it works!
