Toast for babies

Hiya my little boy is 7 months a week today and I want to give him some toast, can he just have the same bread as us (hovis white)?

Yeah I gave whatever bread I had to my then 6 month old daughter! She used to love sucking toast!

Do you guys butter your toast? We used Lurpak (light) but it's slightly salted also so don't think it'd be good for Evelyn.

I dont butter it . mostly because if i do she'll suck it all off and wont eat the toast

finley loves eating toast aswell. i butter it to make it nice and soft for him. i'm scared to give ehim bread sticks tho
