hey ladies hope ur all well ?
I had a forceps delivery almost 3 weeks ago it seems my stiches have gone but I have a gap/hole tha t seems to have not closed it the skin above my vagina opeing there is a hole that seems to have not closed !!! will it close :/if i wanted to insert a tampax it wud not go due to this

or i could say it s a thin line of skin above my vagina entrance seems it wud b in the way blocking the entrance lol

Hi Hun, it might be still healing hence why it's there. I'd be tempted to book an appt with your dr just to get them to check it over.

Also I'm not sure tampax is advisable so soon after delivery due to the risk of infection. Its your choice of course but I thought it was recommended to wait until your 6 week check. Someone with a bit more knowledge than me might be along to clarify soon.

hey thnaxs for ur reply ..yes wont b using a tampax yet but if it stays this way dont think i could or have sex !! i have a appot on friday but it is with a male gp .....dont want to seem over fussy by going 3 weeks after giving birth but i need to get it checked i think ...my gp has no female doctores well into next week do u think the male gp mite refer me to a female gp a bit quicker hope so ..hope ur wellx

I think you're right to go and get it looked at sooner rather than later in case it needs dealing with. I though the registrar had sewn me a new bit on my foof but it was swelling from my stitches which has gone down now.

I wouldn't worry about it being a male as he can see you quicker.

Fx it's something really simple.
