Tmi do I have to use pessary at night?

Well I finally got my treatment but it states to use it only at night? Do I have to I mean I need this cleared up asap so I don't know if I should wait till bedtime or not? Xxx

Is this canesten pessary? I had thrush years ago and used it - the pessary dissolves and crumbles quite quickly - even when I got up in the morning bits kinda came out so imagine it's best to do it at night to keep as much of the medication up there for as long as possible otherwise if you're upright and moving around your natural discharge will just wash it out and won't be as effective. You can use the cream anytime though - I'd just put cream on to soothe symptoms then do the pessary tonight xxx

Thanks Hun, I was gonna do it now and have a sleep but I've been reading it and it says they can fall out I wee a hell of a lot during the night time that's why I was asking xxx

Oh yea! Didn't think about that - I wee every couple of hours in the night too ah well you can only do your best. I'd still put it in before bed - at least you'll be led down for a good 8hrs even if you need to go for a wee. Maybe just for 1 night try not to drink too much close to bedtime. Hope it works for you xxx
