... One of these silly threads...
How do you actually time contractions?
Do you write them down and keep a note of them?
Or use like the stop watch on your phone?
So you notice when there getting closer and longer?!?
I really don't know, and if I'm trying to not concentrate on the pain I doubt I'm going to be able to remember...
Any tips?!!xxx

I used the stopwatch on my phone, started the timer at the beginning of the contraction and then looked to see what it was on when it stopped, but left timer going to see how long inbetween, then stopped it and started it again when next contraction started. Didn't bother writing it down, you soon notice when they are longer and more frequent.

Hope that makes sense hun lol x x

What's the app called babyem?

Yeah it does make sence haha! I know what you mean :) will maybe have to have a practice to see how to do it x

Ive got an app. just search contraction timer x

Using tapatalk so excuse the typos!

I got a free android app called contraction timer. Pretty basic, just like a stopwatch, but it tells you how long the last 5 contractions were and how far in between. There's quite a range of them, download some and have a play with them xx

Mine is called 'full term' gives you an overview of the different stages of labour and will also count total contractions and average length all at the press of one button! xx
