Hey ladies, hope you're all well! Lots of you on labour watch I see :D good luck!

Anyway my question is when timing contractions, is it the tightening of the belly you time or the pain? I've had cramps all day that have gotten progressively worse but my tightenings don't always coincide with the pain, sometimes it comes after the tightening has eased off a bit. So I am a bit confused :S any help will be hugely appreciated! Really hoping this is it for me and super bean is on his/her way! xx

I time mine from beginning of the pain. I don't always feel the tightenings but they are there because the monitor picked them up at the right time. So I go from beginning of pain to subsidence of pain and tightenings. Also done contractions I get wave after wave of pain with no break so I've been timing these as big contractions.
