Thrush grrrr :(

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the thread name just looking for advice / similar experience.

Me and my OH have decided to TTC in june, so want to make sure I'm in tip top baby making shape for then!

On 2 occasions over the last couple of years (once when going for coil fitting and once when having smear) I was told by the nurse that I had thrush up around my cervix. I didn't have any symptoms at the time. I went to the health centre tonight to talk about this and they did a couple of swabs to send off for testing and again she said there was thrush up there and again I've had no symptoms.

She said this may just be my natural state, but the worry is that thrush can be quite thick and make it difficult for the sperm to get through to the egg.

Has anyone experienced the same thing or have any advice?

Fingers crossed the results come back ok and its a simple fix, if it needs to be

Hi J,
Similar to Vixx I have no experience in thrash but I feel for you and I thought it's important to let you know you have the support here.
Hopefully it's something that could be fixed with some lifestyle changes. Chin up Sweet.
