Maaaaaaaaaan three kids are hard. I've got a 3yo, a 2yo and a newborn with reflux and tongue tie, and I am cream crackered. Never expected it to be this hard, hoping it improves once baby has his reflux sorted

Hi! I cannot relate as only have one but just wanted to leave a  and say that I hope it gets better soon x

Thanks lovely, I think today has been particularly challenging

I'll have 3 in a few months but my older ones will be 8 and 3 which I think makes a huge difference as young children are so much more dependent and needy of your attention. I hope things get easier, I've been told routine is everything with 3, so hoping to establish one as quickly as possible. Take care and best of luck x

Definitely agree with routine is key, we're slowly falling into one which is definitely helping. Agree with having older ones being easier, my 3yo is much easier than my 2yo. Good luck with #3 lovely

Respect to you Kumber! I think I'd struggle with two at the moment!

Thanks ladies. Reflux is the killer for us at the moment, it can only get better right??

Yes it will. Harper was awful for the first 3 and a half months. I had her on anti reflux milk she was that bad. Then just before 4 months it was getting much better and now she's back on normal milk. She still spits up but not in the huge amounts that she did. I'm afraid you just need to persevere through it. If your LO is in pain though I would see a doctor as they can prescribe medicine for it. Not sure I would go with Gaviscon though. I've heard that the constipation it causes is often worse than the reflux.

Thanks Rachel, he's on ranitidine - started yesterday. He's much worse than my second baby, DS2 spat up a lot but didn't scream half as much, he was on omeprezole. This wee one screams constantly but doesn't spit up so he's a silent refluxer, poor chap. We have another gp appointment tomorrow and I'm going to request a paediatric referral so we can get lansoprazole.

Just need to keep pushing it with the medics as they have a tendency to brush you off in my experience.
