I noticed yesterday that I have a couple of small red thread veins on my face - on my right cheek. Now I'm thinking "uh-oh" am I going to be covered in these LOL

At the moment there are only a couple and they are really quite small. What if I turn into a massive red thread vein! LMAO! :rotfl:

I'd heard of chloasma but this doesn't seem to be the same thing because it's not dark brown patches.

Am I just weird! :cheer:

Ah-ha! LOL

Spider veins

These tiny clusters of broken capillaries (small blood vessels), or spider naevi as they are sometimes known, most often appear on the cheeks, and are common in pregnancy, particularly if you are already prone to them. They are caused by the increased volume of circulating blood putting extra pressure on the capillaries, which are also more sensitive during pregnancy.

To reduce the chances of spider naevi appearing, protect your face from extremes of cold or heat, as exposure to either can encourage the problem. The veins will fade once your hormone levels have settled down after delivery.

Ive got these on my neck and chest and arms, midwife said they would fade after the birth, im not convinced though!!!

i've got a couple on my right thigh. I've been told to stop crossing my legs as i'm restricting the blood but i can't help it and i feel odd not doing it though this advise is on good as they are on your face :rotfl:

been told they will go down but will not totally disappear, just another laser treatment i'll need :(

LMAO! I should stop crossing my eyes perhaps? ;)

I've noticed a few of these on my boobs  They better bloody fade after delivery
