So its 3am and I have been up with James since about 1. :|

He isnt moany or anything...just woke up with a big grin wide awake just as i was going to bed...

He has been like this for the past couple of days since he had his 2nd injections and his 2nd tooth is coming through....he isnt sleeping in the day and goes asleep exhausted drinking his last bottle about 7ish and then wakes up about 1am wanting to play!!

As a result Im bloody exhausted. :( I know I have been sooo lucky as he has slept through from about 10 weeks but I have got used to my sleep so this is a huge shock to the system!! Im so knackered and zombified...its my birthday on Monday and I was supposed to be going out tomorrow (tonight) night with Alan for the first time since March! Think Im going to be too tired...

He isnt hungry as he isnt crying for food or anything and i dont want to start giving him a night feed again...why is he being like this?? I know he will sleep in a bit but will be so fidgety and waking up every 20 mins or so so i wont get any sleep then he will be awake for the day from 8am and wont have a sleep til about 4 for an hour...

How on earth do you ladies cope with the lack of sleep!! I cant deal with this!

I had this with Evie theother week and Put it down to teething, it lasted a couple of days

... sadly no tooth came through. she has had a poorly bum for a few days now and she's sooo grumpy!! and the dribble is never-ending. her poor little cheeks are like they're on fire. Surely the tooth must be nearly here!?

what a wee monkey, leading you on with a good nights sleep then getting up again. I would give him a bottle if it makes him sleepy again, it could be a growth spurt. I know you said he wasnt crying for food but thats the only suggestion I could come up with.

Good luck

I was thinking growth spurt too!? I know they're meant to have one around 4 months Jen xx

The only way I coped was to sleep when he did!

Not do-able when you're back at work but when they're tiny it's more manageable. You'll miss all the evening telly but you could always invest in Sky+

Hope the little tinker sleeps for you soon, it's so draining xxxx

I just try not to do too much in a day if possible so that I'm not really knackered from other things too.

I sympathise. Callyhas started waking uploads in the night, which I amoutting down to growth spurt, and then Seren is waking up at 6.30-7 am and I have to get up with them. Seren has dropped her day nap as well :( The only saving grace I have is an early night every so often and on a weds and fri morning Seren is at nursery and I get to nap when Cally does. Restof the time I am a zombie but i guess it comes with the territory :bored: :bored:  .

Its called surviving in my case  ..you get used to it ..you become numb and disconnected :bored: xxxxxxxxxxx
I find it worse when I actually get sleep now... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Finn's got teeth coming through and he wakes at the slightest thing at the moment! Usually, if he's really fast asleep and his dummy drops out, he doesn't notice, but at the moment he cries the moment it does :wall: Yep we were up at 2.30am today...and WIDE AWAKE  at 6

Holly is exactly like this at the moment... she isn't fully waking in the night but moans and fusses at about 3am. SHe's got a sore bum too
I can't wait for this tooth to come through

I was up every half hour until about 1am dealing with him. At 1ish he began crying and my hubby brought him through so I could feed him - even though he doesn't need to be fed at his age, it at least gets him back to sleep! Yesterday he was awake at 4.30 and decided to finally wake up at 6.30
