Dec hasnt used his buggy in a whole month now  he walks everywhere, we dont drive so when I say he walks everywhere I mean everywhere !!!! lol We walk into town (a 20 min walk) and when we are done shopping we will walk out again. Yesterday we done a 9 mile walk (5 of it was a hike) and he loved it

The only problem is I am sad because I will never wheel a pram again, ok I may if my sister has another but I will never wheel my own pram again :( I know OH and I decided we didnt want anymore (and deep down I still dont) but now that Dec is growing so quickly, no bottle, no dummies, no nappies and now no buggy I am actually feeling a little broody :oooo:

Sorry for the ramble the point of the thread is Dec is now out of the pram at 31 months :dance:

wow thats good at that age :D my sisters daughter still sometimes uses her pushchair but she would rather walk everywhere though lol and shes 3 :O x

dolly will be 2 years 4 months when the baby is born and i just cant see her walking like that yet, liked you i dont drive and the school run is a 15 plus min walk (even my 5 year old moans lol) i am sure she would walk as she cant wait to get out of her buggy when i let her the prob is her walking safely not sure she would understand roads, so think im going for a double buggy atleast for the first few months when the baby is small
hows dec when out walking will he stay with you?

For the first two weeks he had to have his wrist strap or harness on but he hated it so I tried him without it, he is actually very good he will walk a little ahead of me and when he comes to a road he will stop and wait for me to take his hand before he crosses :) Dont get me wrong there is times he will run away from me and I panick but he only does that in places he knows, if we are somewhere new he will hold my hand the whole time. But Dec is 2 years 7 months this week, so a little older.

Wow well done lil man :yay:

I am selling my icandy now (I changed my mind before) and its like :( because we too are having no more. I have the stroller and buggyboard for now but still the nice big pram is kind of nice  my main baby pram!

Do you let him go without a wrist strap on etc? How old is he now hun?

Yes he does go with the wrist strap, but only the past 2 weeks, the first 2 he was a bit excited to be out of the pram so he needed to be restrained !!!! lol He will be 2 years 7 months on the 29th :)

It is so sad when the pram goes :( I feel naked without mine lol

Same with my crazy man, but after the first 2 weeks he seemed to get used to it, no harm in having her on a harness for a few weeks until the excitment wear off. There was a post on BnB and some of the ladies posted some cute little bag ones, I am actually thinking of getting one for when we are in town, Dec thinks he can go shopping by himself when we go to town :eh:

What threads that hun or what bag?

I think I'm going to look into a bag one after this mornings fit! :wall: I am so impatient though I want to get there and not in snail style

I saw a cute monkey one on ebay  Katie is very into monkeys  It's £17 though :eh:

It did indeed and I found a monkey one for £7 cheaper because of it :yay: Bought it :smug:
