We originally picked freddie for a boy and Millie for a girl, but my cousin has just had a boy and called him freddie.. So don't really want to copy and call him that.

I still love Millie but another cousin is called Amelia, is that too similar?

I am close to my family so I think It could get confusing having two Freddie's...

So, what do you think of..
Bertie James Dixon
Oscar James Dixon
Henry James Dixon
Elijah Dixon
Josiah Dixon

And for girls..
Hattie Jane Dixon
Eliza Jane Dixon
Elsie Jane Dixon
Millie Jane Dixon - I still love this

Would really welcome everyone's opinions and any other suggestions xx

If Amelia is only called Amelia I don't see Millie being a problem. Millie's my fave from your list.

Henry's my fave from your boys list. I'd love to call our new boy Henry but OH doesn't like it so we're having Henry's alternative ... Harry! :) x

Henry is definitely my favourite from your list!
& From the girls list - Millie & Elsie xx

Love Henry and Bertie and love all of your girls names - Elsie and Eliza are on my list too, although DH isn't keen on Eliza :(

I love Oscar, this is OH and my favourite at the minute :) we thought about Elijah but wasn't sure on how out there it was?
Millie is a lovely name and i can't see it being confused with Amelia x

Another vote for Henry - 'tis a lovely name!

I also love Millie

xxxxx

I love all your boys names though I could see him being picked on at school with Bertie and Josiah. We are thinking of using Elsie for our LO :) But I also like hattie and Millie. I suggested Millie to OH but he isn't keen otherwise I'd have loved to use it. I don't think Millie and Amelia is a big issue unless she is called Millie by others. I'd avoid Freddie though if your cousin has just used it xx

I don't think Millie and Amelia is an issue , they sound nothing like each other, great choice with Millie.
From your boys names I like Elijah or Josiah , unusual , and different, but not too much if you know what I mean...

Henry is very popular, and so there will be others in his class at school I think

Defo henry for a boy, and lizzy for a girl xx

I really like Millie but actually really don't like amelia, there 2 different names if you like Millie go for it. If they wanted there daughter to be caked Millie instead of Amelia I'm sure they would have called her that.

All the Amelia's I know get called Millie for short :-/

I love the name Oscar for a boy :) x

How funny...I used to be a nanny for kiddies clled Bertie and Hattie :) xxx

It's not uncommon to change names even after the birth. We changed the name of our first child several times during the pregnancy, and other close friends taking our names, don't tell anyone your names! :) I like Oscar James Dixon
