Thick question alert!!

Do you start other drinks before six months ie water and juice or do you Start these when weaning?? Just wondered !! Xx

I don't think your baby needs other fluids before 6 months or weaning, but sometimes they can just be thirsty, so as long as you don't give too much I think it's ok to give water. I only ever gave zac water if he was constipated, until I started weaning x

Formula fed babies may need water before weaning but not always (I don't know if you're ff or bf but just in case I just thought I'd say) and I'd offer water if it's a really warm day x

we have gave Ellie water everyday since she come home from SCBU they used to give her it in the unit to cleanse her mouth and help stop her lips from drying out as she was in the incubator and tube fed for 4 weeks but it was only like an 1oz if that and now she has a fair bit during the day and specially in weather like what we have just now x

My little man drink 4-5oz of water a day bit only recently as it is really hot where i am! but i wait for him to say he wants it and when he starts spitting it out i know he's had enough. My health visitor advised it in this weather!

My lil man is FF fed btw

when amelia was fbf she had baby juice watered down every day because she was always constipated so i try and give her a drink every day in her cup to get her used to it x
