thick lineing 3 weeks ago but no AF???

Hi

I had my internal scan about 3 weeks ago and i was told i had a thick lineing which meant i was due a period within a couple of days but no AF yet Is that something that usually happens with PCOS? I was told it was probably PCOS but i need to see a specialist (have to wait though). Im just worried as i thought i would have come on by now, iv had period cramps for ages
