personally i dont recommend them beause there are alot of hidden charges
i.e butlins you pay £9.50 each then you have to pay £6 per person per night and club passes are £8 each
but some of the other ones are not to bad

It does totally depend on the place you go, lots of places do have free passes etc, but some sites you can end up paying a lot more. We went to Hendra in Newquay and we did have to pay for passes and stuff but it was worth it.
I'd say pick your place carefully and they can be great, but also look at last minute offers at the parks cos they can be just as good if not better.

My mum and brother have been on two and loved both of them. Said it was well worth it and had a great time.

we went to clacton and it was a toilet. but i did think that it was good value for money. i think we paid about £70 for four nights in the six weeks holiday.
I have been on 4 now and we are going on one in september to just outside Blackpool
You pay £10 extra for the entertainment passes (each) and you pay £10 deposit for linen, (But if i were you i would take my own anyway)
3/4 sites i went to were fantastic, they were like Butlin sites and only a fraction of the prices. It won't be £9.50 each exactly but it is still cheaper than paying £200-300 for a week somewhere else.
I would reccomend it. When you have small children then it is worth it as they have alot to do on the sites

You collect vouchers out of the sun newspaper and then send then off with a deposit and then you pick 4 holiday sites from the list provided in the paper and what date you want and they give you the ones available for that date.
I really like them and the caravans are not too bad either!
