She can have mine

I insist she has mine :talkhand:

I'll happily take someone else's but you have to realise girls that it's a straight swap - mine for yours that's the deal. :rotfl: :rotfl:

She also moaned about 20 times a day to my SIL that 'All my boys were out of nappy's at 6months why isn't she??' ~ Sure the child can't, walk, talk or eat for themselves but are out of nappies?!?! WTF

Now,am I doing a great job of selling her or what? Do I hear any takers?

Grrrr... that's really chapped my hide  Staying off smoking is hard enough at the best of times, let alone when you're pregnant and hormonal! She should be supporting you, not tempting you to start up again! And I bet if you did start again and god forbid there was a problem with the baby she'd be the first to point the finger as well ... bloody MiLs!! Who'd have one?!

Well done for standing your ground, chick

This has just had me in stitches reading everyone's responses...I didn't get what MIL was at first but it was still funny! But just seen that it's Mother-in-Law.

What is it with everyone suddenly thinking that they can dish out expert advice when they either have NEVER had kids OR had children at least 25 years ago when things were different anyway?!

I've had to tell my Mum that I know it's with good intention but can she please stop offering me obvious advice like 'when you go on holiday, make sure you don't overpack your bags as they'll be too heavy'....ahem...I'd kind of already come to that conclusion myself! haha.

Anyway, I'm off to lick some raw chicken and wash it down with a bottle of sambuca! Bottoms up!

:rotfl:

I used to smoke probably about 5-10 a day.. I have cut right down and have probably one a day. Not a nice habit, not one I am proud of...... but I would NEVER suggest to a pregnant woman that she start smoking again after quitting becuase she is stressed.

I probably would have suggested yoga, or meditation.. or some relaxation exercises..

But smoking???

She must have been out of her mind. Did you ask her what she'd been smoking lately??
:o

mmmmm I'd love a wee vodka or 2 - especially the raspberry one - its truely too nice - have a nice big litre in the fridge for the summer sunshine

What IS she on about??? Everyone knows the best way to relax is to get p*ssed - go on, crack open the vodka, it won't do the baby any harm! :rotfl:

LOL I read it as your midwife saying that... there is no one to complain to if it's your mother-in-law !!! HAHAH

Cant believe I just read that!!!!

Glad she isnt my MIL!!!!! :rotfl: Crazy lady!!
