I was watching the Oprah Winfrey show and they were talking about a universal language for babies. When your baby is crying, try to recognise the sound he/she makes, and each sound actually means something different. e.g.

When your baby is cryin and making a 'Neh' sound, it means that baby is hungry

'Eeeeeeeiiiii' means baby is unconfortable

the sharp 'Eh eh eh' sound when baby is crying means that baby needs to burp

It was so fascinating, they brought babies on the show and did the experiment, and it worked with each baby

i didnt see the show, but when you have your own baby you soon begin to learn that they have diffrent cries for different wants. Also if your in the hospital with others mums and babies you can tell your babies cry from all the other babies (well i could anyway). I would sleep through all the other babies cryingbut as soon as Evie so much as whimpered i was wide awake in a second. :D
