Yipee Hayley, today is the day

wish i could show you all how big it's gone - but i don't have the technical thing at home to do it... i used to post pictures from work - sorry...

i was last measured at 40 + 2 days and measured exactly 40cm... the top i was wearing then - i wore again on wednesday gone... it was like a tit top... i've grown so much...

Keely predicted a girl...

as i'm nearly 2 weeks over now i'm thinking it's going to be a bit of a bruser... was hoping for a sweet little 7 pounder'er...

done my hair... got everything ready by front door.. i think i like it planned... would have loved to have woken up DH in the middle of the nite and screamed "get the car i'll get my bag" but hay... the end result is the same...

thanks for all your wishes.. i've given DH strict orders to text tankett the news... i'd like you all to be thinking of me before you go to bed tonight because i'll either be pushing or screaming for an epidural if contractions are dragging themselves out...

just got time to pop back on before my lift comes... just put fish n chips in the oven for myself.. don't know if thats a bad choice as it might be coming back up later!!! DH is working till midnight - he works for himself and gave 2 of his staff the nite off thinking baby would well be here... not to worry my mum is my other birthing partner so she is going in with me... DH will be able to come straight to the hospital after work - he shouldn't have missed much i've heard it can take a few hours for the pessary to work... if he's missed any of my pain i'll let him know what it felt like...

thank you for all your wishes... means a lot. getting all sentimental now!!!!

Poor Hayley is still waiting I'm afraid. and she hasn't managed a wink of sleep all night.

She's texted me a couple of times this morning to say that she's had 2 pessaries so far, but LO still remains stuck firm! The scan shows the baby is in the perfect position, but she isn't dilating yet. The doc is coming at 11.30 to re-assess, and they are going to probably put her on a drip and try to break her waters. The consultant doesn't want to do a c section which has cheered her up.

I'll let you know as and when I hear anything.

Thanks for keeping us posted Tankett. Oh poor Hayley, I think she has waited long enough poor girl. That baby must be so comfortable.
