Taken last weekend when it was so glorious and HOT! Had Alyssa in her paddling pool for the first time, and she loved it! She also had her first fruit smoothie; she does really well drinking through a straw

She's still going strong on the BF front after nearly 16 months with no sign of wanting to self-wean anytime soon. I've just invested in La Leche League's book Mothering Your Nursing Toddler. Had borrowed it from my local SureStart centre, but after flicking through it I knew it was a book I wanted on my bookshelf alongside my copy of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding.
