How did the scans go ladies?

Scan went grand today and most of things were checked and were normal. However baby was lying on its belly and hands over face so heart couldn't be checked properly so have to go back for a rescan but happy everything was ok. Also had legs closed so couldn't get the gender lol next time though ��
Oh and my placenta is anterior and low down too but this is common and just needs checked again at 34 weeks

So pleased all went well. I hope baby behaves next time so they have can a thorough check, have they said how long you will have to wait?
There seems to be a lot of us with anterior placentas, must have been something in the water last year lol x

Yeh true. Nurse said anterior placentas are very common though.
I should hopefully get an appointment within next 2 weeks for a rescan.

A private clinic actually can do the gender scan tomorrow night for me and tempted to book in and do it!!!

thats great news hun! i also have an anterior placenta it was low but it has now moved up! so annoying as movements can be dull or not felt at all - i had to be monitored yesterday due to reduced movements

What happens if it doesn't move up on its own?

it shoudnt be a problem unless it is blocking the exit for the baby - in which case you have to have a c section i think, but they will tell you if its a problem. xx

I had severe cramps in my lower abdomen last night and they were coming and going every few mins. I panicked and thought i was going to lose the baby. Hospital told me to come in and baby was ok but cramps were so severe.
In end up i think i was severely constipated as felt need to push in my bottom and eventually my bowels moved and felt better. Was bit embarrassed but was so worried

oh you will get all sorts of weird and wonderful pains! ive had pains where i have been doubled over with the pain and all i needed was to pump!

you get very bad trapped wind when your pregnant - but better safe than sorry - i had pains over the weekend i brushed them off but then got wrong off the midwife as i should have been checked out! xx
