Thanks Ems I love it long again! Yey!!!!!!!. The Hop n Pops great it plays different like "if you're happy and yoi know it" all pop like and other tunes and it all lights up, has a front leg which bounces up and down when little one does which sets off lights and tunes and the balls in the front dome pop up and around, has rattles and little buttons which set the music off. She loves it :) xxxxxx

It's £49.99 new here! I couldn't afford it so I had to look on Ebay - usual. I am an Ebay addict xxxxxxxxxx

i got B the activity station from mother care mega expensive but he loves it

I used to love ebay shopping when I lived in UK. I also love carboot sales! No point in spending so much - recycle and buy second hand!

i dont trust things on EBAY my dad brought me a buggy from it and it was horrible had baby sick on and everything!

I get tons of stuff off ebay. I always look at their feedback though if it's second hand or most of it is BNWT so is OK. I have been let down slightly a fewtimes but nothing major. xxxxxx

Emma how much was it if you dont mind me asking i was after one for frankie but dont well cant afford 49.99 for it. :D

It was £25 buy it now. A lot of the bids were nearly £25 for some auctions that were nearly ending and so I knew that they would be more expensive than that so just went for the buy it now option. It was collect only but asked for it to be posted instead.

That looks great could do with one of them  what weight to those type of things go up to? I'm scared incase my lil fattie breaks things like that.

Hi ya, It said 25lb when I bid for it as Jayden is a little chubber too :)
xxxxxxxx

Awww Reece is 22lb so he'd be out of it in no time :( That looks really entertaining for them though, Reece had a walker but OH took it off him cos the HV told us they were dangerous so he has nothing to stand up in!

why did the HV say it was dangerous?

I remember back to when my son was little (12 years ago), I was advised against these type toys / walking rings.
I was led to believe that it's very bad for the development of their legs, and also dangerous from the point of accidents. Like toppling over or down stairs.

I think if you use these things sensibly - you're ok. But astonishly, there are always people who would for example put baby in it upstairs and NOT have a safety gate and some folk would probably also put baby in there for the whole day, while they pick their arses and watch Good Morning with Philip and Fern!! :D

Like anything else - a good thing if used safely and in moderation.

She said it was dangerous for firstly what Emilia said about accidents and the bandy legs etc and also because she thinks they stop babies being able to balence properly when they start to walk and will fall over more  OH will listen to anything

i have heard it can hinder development of walking etc and can cause probs with their legs. I guess it all depends on your babies height as well otherwise theyll be dragging their legs about. i wont get a walker for matthew as we dont have the room and i would like to keep the walls dent free!!!!!!
