Charlie went to a children centre with the childminder last week and the adjoining nursery play area is attached with a fence. Charlie was over by the fence and a little boy on the nursery side pulled his arm through the bars and bit him very hard on the hand...so hard he broke the skin and Charlie has a wound and a bruised bite mark.
I have made a complaint although I dont know what else I can do as they have apparently put the other child on watch as he is a known biter and his parents have to sign the report which I will get a copy of.
Anyway, having sat back and thought about it I dont know whether Charlie should have a tetanus jab, at the end of the day if he was bitten by an animal (I am sure some children are very similar, especially this biter) then it was be mandatory.
Should I approach my doctor/nurse and ask or do you think I am just being paranoid?
