I'm beginning to think my hospital is useless
Last week I went into hospital because I was bleeding and they took a sample of the blood for testing. They confirmed that the baby was still healthy and everything looked fine. They told me to ring up the next day to get the results of the blood test. When I rang up, there was no record of the test and after a mw typing on the computer (while talking to her work mates about other things) she said "sorry there's nothing here. There's nothing I can do I'm afraid" .. so now I'm scared that my results are lost and something that is wrong will go unnoticed
I did say to her to ask the doc (I could here the dr in the background) but she just typed some more!! I should have made it clear that my sample needs to be somewhere and I wasn't moving until someone was looking it up but I was so nervous about ringing and hearing of something serious that I assumed it must have been ok but I dont think a patient should have to assume this?? What should I do? Write a letter?
