Hi so i woke up took temp that had plumeted to 98.10 (98.40 normally) 6dpo.. thinking nah i retook straight away to get 98.33 and retook again 98.34. Should i have taken the first temp i got instead of retaking? Feel i done a mistake doing that as i havent ever retook a temp after thinking result was wrong? However at the same time.. was first temp wrong cause other 2 are closer together if makes sense..?

In my experience I always get a dip at 6dpo, it’s quite common and then shoots back up again the next morning. Just the apps/monitors don’t like it as it’s sure a variation from normal follicular temps.

On the other hand if you take it orally it could be you mouth had been open and was dry/cold, you’ll only really know with a couple months testing (if you get that far)

Hope this helps x

When you woke up, was this your regular time to measure your temps? If you woke up earlier than usual your temp will be lower. Most fertility guidelines will tell you to mark a temp if it's more than 1 hr either before or after your usual temp. I work on 30min.

You should check the batteries on your thermometer just to make sure. Only replace the batteries when you start a new cycle through.

With increased movement etc your second set of temps will be higher. Always use the first temp you get. Rather Mark it as disturbed in your chart and make a note.
