So I have a rare one for you all. My baby was born with one of his bottom teeth. His second one came through when he was 9 weeks old. He's teething again but he's chewing on his finger on the side of his gum on the bottom. I was just wondering if anyone had a baby who had 3 or 4 teeth come through on the bottom before any on the top x

No, but my son has 4 front teeth top and bottom, then a huge gap, then 2 of his molars. There's supposed to be a "usual" pattern of which teeth come first, second, third etc. (which my daughter did to the book) but there will always be babies who cut them unusually.

No experience of bottom teeth before top, but the last two lots my son had all came through in fours instead of top then bottom. He was no fun to be around when they came in as a result but at least teething was all done quickly. We only have the very back ones left to come in now.

It's horrible. Especially cause he is so young and doesn't know that putting his teething toys in his mouth helps.x

We had both bottom teeth before top. Then the top 2 came through.. followed quickly by another one next to the 2 bottom onces. Now looks like we have a molar! ... my boy is 9 months though, they all started popping through about 6/7 months old x

My friend suggested to me I use a toothbrush for my lo who's teething. She is able to put it in her mouth herself and she does seen to get relief from it. You could always trying massaging your little ones gums with one if there unable to use teething type toys.

Yeah it's not uncommon for teeth to not follow the norm. As a dental nurse it's very uncommon to see babies born with teeth but does happen. It's crazy! :-)
