Just found out so thinking of names... What are you opinions on Isaac, Jacob and Lucas... Boys names are so difficult

Isaac is our fave too ATM .. The only thing I was thinking is it can't be shortened, do you think that matters?

I don't think shortening matters with a short name really although I do think along the same lines too can't isaac be shortened to zac.. ?

I agree that Isaac can be shortened to 'Zack'.

Even still, I wouldn't get put off just because of not being able to shorten it to a nickname.

I have an Isaac, he's 7 now, and I will always love his name, people comment on it always, and I thought I would shorten it to zac, but never have done as its a completely different name x

Just to add we do shorten it, but to izey(eye-z!!) or izey wisey!!!! We also have 6 month old Cameron, and we already call him Cam x

Ike is short for Isaac too. I love Isaac and Ike.

I love Jacob. I originally wanted that for a boys name but my dads daughter my half sister has just had a boy and called him Jacob xx

ninal, i love all them names lucas was on my list and was one of my faves but loads of babies are being called lucas now, and i didnt think it was that common, i like isaac the bestest
