TB Injection

Jacob has his Saturday week and I was just wondering is it the same as the one adults get? and does it leave a scar? not looking forward to taking him for that

emma has had hers, she didn't even blink, its in the arm and you can easily distract them. its been about 8 weeks since then and has not scabbed over yet, but is a raised dot. not sure whether it will leave a scar.

I was given the TB injection as a baby but don't have a scar or anything. Why is it being given? Are you in a high risk area?

HV said they give it to all babies where I am now, I live in London, none of my other kids ever had it but that was a long time ago and it's listed in his red book as his first injection and I was sent an appointment for it.
