Nicola its £180 for a year

Shocking isn't it....mine is £112.75 for 6 months, £205 for the year (band F, petrol 4x4)

Our freelander cost £180 when we got it taxed last week  Ours is several years old, does that make a difference???

Not sure, I think there is a thing about cars before/after 2001 and then again for before/after 2005 - carbon emissions are also taken into consideration. Pervious to getting this new one my last one was a 1999 model, that cost £175 for the last tax disk we bought so maybe with the latest tax increase it would have been £180 to do it again. I have no idea, seeing my FIL tomorrow he's the whizz with things like this, he actually seems to find it intersting  I'll ask & report back!

it sucks paying tax doesnt it! i hate car tax, council tax and (the killer) income tax (i only earn peanuts it hurts having £230 a month taken from me)!

Tell me about it, we pay the highest taxes in the world!

I definitely want to move abroad one day and say :moon: to this damn country and its taxes!

I have a 1.4 Clio and Daniel has a 1.4 Corsa SXI, his tax is due this month then mines due next month

We have a 2 litre - but it's old (think it's 1990) so we still only pay £170ish a year.
