No probs, moved for you.

It didn't make a difference to our tax credits, but certainly worth phoning them. I don't really understand tax credits as it seems to be done on last year's income (April 07 - March 08) so you may not get anything more until the end of the tax year and your recalculation is done.

The amount you get in one tax year depends on your income for that tax year. They base it on the previous year as they assume your income will be the same. We phoned to tell them that our income had changed. They will ask what you expect your income to be for the tax year so be prepared with the answer to that. At the end of the tax year if you should have been paid more they will give you the extra and if you should have been paid less you will have to give back that money though I'm not sure if you pay it back in a lump sum or if they take it out of your future payments.

thanks peeps ive foned them with an estimate of this yrs income so will wait and see now
