Anyone with these? we went for that deal where u pay for telephone and get free broadband, anyway we were to go online on the 1st june, modem didnt arrive till 2 wks ago, internet worked for all of 2 days and has now stopped workin, we have been tryin to ring helpline since friday morning and eventually got someone at 5.15 sat afternoon but couldnt speak a word of english so we got no where. anyway today OH has spoke to some one at last, who has said she cant see what the problem is and she will look into it an will get back to us in 12 days :shock: what do we do till then? we pay all our bills online.

i have got the phone part but not the internet, i am happy with aol. but i might go back to bt, not to sure yet.
 
wish we had just stuck with ntl. so much hassle!

PM me your details (acct number etc)
and i'll email our technical helpdesk and ask them to investigate and call you back. ASAP.

If you can also include full symptoms etc and i can forward it to them.

I don't work on the Broadband side of Carphone Warehouse so i can't really help, but i can certainly find someone who can.

Did you take out the virus protection etc??

Think "listen to people rant about CPW" was in the terms of my contract!!!

My go live date for my broadband was supposed to be the beginning of August, and i got a letter on the 6th July telling me that it started on 1st July and didn't get my modem till the 8th so was really annoyed cos no advance warning so i've still been charged for this months dial up anytime account!!

So mad!!!
