Taking blood

Had all my blood tests done yesterday... and my arms is still really killing me.. the needle didnt leave much of a bruise... but it feels as though i've pulled a muscle or somethign i my arm.. can't straighten it out properly
is this normal

thats perfectly normal

i couldnt straighten it out or bend it properly but its completely normal

think its just sensitivity from your vein

Naa you're just being a wuss! Just kidding!

I was really worried about having my blood taken (1st time - heard it was a thick needle!!! ) but it didn't hurt a bit! I have had injections previously though in the top of my arm which have left me feeling like someone has punched me hard.

yeah sounds pretty normal. they told me to drink loads of water before you have blood taken, like you would with a scan, i did it for my 28 week check and she got it 1st time! must be some truth in it!
