Right! So the witch got me today. Three days early. But that means I dont have to wait so long for the bad news and all the sooner to get cracking again!

However, I have lived with the fear too long. I am so scared we cant have kids for some reason and each month when I dont get pregnant I get more concerned about it and my DH gets more defensive about it.

So I've booked a doctors appointment for next week to start the process. I have no idea what happens next so any advice would be good.

I need to have that worry taken away or start dealing with what we can do instead.

The only other thing i need to do now is try to convince husband to do the same!

Sorry AF got you. But good plan on seeing the doctors, I hope they are very helpful.

I hope you get some answers at the doctors - or at least start the process.

hey,

its nothing to worry about, they might take bloods but they prefer to do this 21days after the 1st day of your period, to check ovulation etc
and then they will ask your OH to take a cup home, do what he needs to do in it then return it to the hosp within an hour...

then its a waiting game im affraid.

hope you get some answers x

Sorry AF got you hun but good luck at the Docs. Like you say at least then you'll hopefully have some answers either way.

He can take the cup home? I didnt know that. It might help get him to a docs as well. In the meantime i have caved in to my fears bought one of those male fertility tests for him.

Just got to get him to use it!

Good action plan Clem, this way you have more control of what is going on!
Keep us girls updated on how you go with your appointment x

Hi Clem. How long have you been trying? When we went to the doctors we were referred to the hospital. The first thing they did was take a sample from DH (my DH had to do this at hospital). They also took blood tests to check my hormone levels but I wasnt having periods.

Good luck with everything xx

Best of luck Clem. There's not much I can add to what the other ladies have said, but hope all goes well for you - nothing to be scared of (we went through the same tests last month).
The main hurdle is getting a GP who is understanding and knowledgable of your situation. GPs sometimes have a specialist area, so I wouldn't be afraid to ask the receptionist when you make your appointment if any of the docs specialise in fertility.
Xx
