hi all just asking a question for a friend..she's been ebf her 6 month old since he was born. They tried the odd expressed feed from a tt bottle which he took fine.

She's just texted me in a panic because she's got a Kit day at work on Tuesday so she will be away from him for 11 hours, she's got plenty of expressed milk but he's started refusing the bottle.
She's tried tommee tippee, mam, avent and vital baby bottles with him, none of which he'll now take.
Any tips or advice i can give her?
TIA X

I'm having the same problem. A lady at one of my groups suggest put LO in a bouncer/chair and feed them from there. That way they aren't near the boob so won't search for it.
Try feeding from the bottle either before LO is looking for food or inbetween feeding.
I tried this and managed to go from crying to playing with the teat with the occasional suck.
I'm persisting with MAM bottles ;)

xx

At 6months I'd skip bottles altogether and aim for a sippy cup, or a doidy cup. X

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(
